     Training is available for novices, existing operators who have had no formal forklift training, refresher training and conversion training, from perhaps

     counterbalance truck to pivot steer truck ( bendi or flexi). Conversion training is required because forklift truck training on one type of truck entitles the operator

     to operate only that class of truck. 

     We are experienced, registered and accredited by RTITB to provide forklift training on:

       We also specialise in RTITB accredited on-site Lorry Loader Crane training( hiab etc), MEWP training  (scissor lift, cherry picker etc) and Driver CPC  periodic

            RTITB are approved by the Health & Safety Commission to monitor and accredit  forklift training companies, and regular auditing ensures records,

      procedures and training meet the standard needed. We believe the  standards set by RTITB are the  the highest and should be  followed rigorously.

     Typical forklift training course content:

•      Forklift training course outline and introductions
•      Operators safety code, regulations and procedures
•      Introduction to the truck to be used for forklift training
•      Controls and instruments
•      Start, moving, stopping and steering the truck
•      Steering in unrestricted and restricted areas
•      Hydraulic system and its safe use
•      Weight assessment and lift truck stability
•      Handling unladen and laden pallets and racking system use
•      Driving on inclines
•      Road vehicle loading and unloading procedures
•      Pre-use checks
•      Refuelling procedures
•      Testing to include pre-use, theory and practical test.
•      Forklift training course closure.

• "Novices" with no experience of operating any type of fork lift truck =3 to 5 days.
• "Experienced" but with no formal flt training and/or certification =2 to 3 days.
• "Refresher" for operators with previous flt training and expired certification =1 day.
• "Conversion" training from one truck type to another = 1 to 2 days
