The proprietor, Wayne Pitman, is a highly skilled engineer with many industry qualification gained with several further education establishments and employers in quite diverse operations. Having also gained several instructional and supervisory qualifications and been recognised with a European Silver Award for work as a learning representative with a very large multinational car component manufacturing company, Wayne decided on a change of career path to persue his vocation as a training provider.
We are Fully covered by public, product and indemnity insurance, utilise a written Safety Policy, carry out regular risk assessments specific to the forklift truck training etc environment, and instruct safety as a first priority. Forklift training results in your operators being issued the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) Operators Safety Code Booklet for future reference to promote continued safe and efficient fork lift truck operation.
All necessary training aids and equipment, paperwork and laptop computer are carried by our instructors to ensure the complete forklift truck training, lorry loader crane training and mewp training package. All courses and certification comply with the Health & Safety Executive Approved Code Of Practice, Lift Truck Operator Training L117.
All trainees are required to complete pre-use check test , associated knowledge test and practical test of operating skills as endorsed by the RTITB. Successful trainees can be entered on the National Operator Registration Scheme.
