RTITB are approved by the Health and Safety Commission to operate schemes for the accreditation of forkLift Training.
RTITB closely monitors and examines accredited organisations to ensure the provision of training meets the RTITB standards ensuring the forklift training you receive is of the highest quality.
All operators who undertake successful training and testing carried out at an RTITB accredited organisation are added to the National Operator Registration Scheme.
What is NORS?
NORS is a centralised, registration, validation and certification system for Lift Truck operators and other mechanical handling equipment drivers. NORS certification is issued to operators who undertake training at one of RTITB’s accredited training providers across the UK and Ireland.
How long does NORS registration last?
The scheme requires the operator to take forklift refresher training prior to re-registration every 3 years.
